What We Build
Restaurant & Commercial Banquettes
Our most requested commercial service. We build curved banquettes, straight-run booths, L-shaped corner units, and freestanding banquette walls for restaurants, bars, and event spaces throughout Jacksonville and the First Coast. All commercial built-ins use Naugahyde marine-grade vinyl, Crypton performance fabrics, or COM contract textiles — bleach-cleanable and California TB-117 fire-code compliant.
Window Seats & Bay Seating
We build window seats to the exact depth, height, and length of your window bay — with or without under-seat storage, with cushion or fully upholstered lid. Fabric options range from performance linen to outdoor-rated Sunbrella for high-traffic spaces.
Built-In Bedroom Benches
Footboard benches, alcove seats, and upholstered storage boxes built to the dimensions of your bedroom. We match fabric to your headboard, drapery, or existing furniture for a fully coordinated interior.
Curved & Radius Seating
Curved built-ins require a frame built to a specific radius, foam cut to contour, and fabric pulled without puckers around the curve. This is skilled work — and it is one of our specialities. Whether the radius is tight (a circular banquette) or gentle (a curved window seat), we build the frame in-house and execute the upholstery to a fine-furniture standard.
Our Built-In Process
Site Measurement & Design
Every built-in project begins with a site visit. We measure the space, assess the substrate (wall framing, floor material, existing millwork), and discuss height, depth, fabric, and function. For commercial projects, we review floor plans and work with your general contractor or designer if needed.
Frame Construction
All frames are built in-house at our Atlantic Beach workshop from kiln-dried hardwood and premium MDF. We do not use flat-pack or prefabricated frames. This means we can accommodate non-standard dimensions, curved profiles, and unusual site conditions that off-the-shelf products cannot.
Foam & Padding
Seat foam is selected by density and ILD (firmness rating) based on the intended use — firmer for restaurant seating rated for continuous commercial use, softer for residential window seats. We use HR (High Resilience) foam, Dacron wrap, and in some applications, spring-assisted seat bases for maximum comfort and longevity.
Fabric & Finishing
Fabric is cut and sewn in-house, with seams, welt cords, tufting, and nailhead details executed to the same standard as our fine-furniture upholstery. We work with customer's own material (COM) and also carry an extensive fabric library in the showroom.
Installation
For residential built-ins, our team installs the finished piece and coordinates with any millwork, electrical, or finish carpentry. For commercial projects, we work around your operating schedule — many of our restaurant fit-outs are completed over a single weekend to avoid business disruption.
