A Real Fabric Store, Not a Catalogue

Most fabric shopping now happens on a screen, where colour is a guess and texture is a description. Our Atlantic Beach showroom holds over 30,000 swatches you can pick up, drape over your arm and carry to the window to see in daylight. That is the part you cannot do online, and it is the part that decides whether you still like the piece in a year.

We have been supplying fabric on the First Coast since 1999. Homeowners, interior designers and commercial clients all buy here, and you are welcome whether you need a single yard or a whole dining room.

What We Carry

Beyond the swatch library we order from the major mills, so if you have seen something that is not on our wall, bring the name or a photograph and we will track it down.

Velvet

Cotton, linen and performance velvets for headboards, sofas and dining chairs, in a full range of weights.

Linen and cotton

Natural fabrics for drapery panels, Roman shades and slipcovers, from sheers through to heavier upholstery weights.

Boucle

Textured boucle for chairs, banquettes and headboards, one of the most requested fabrics in the showroom.

Performance fabrics

Crypton and similar performance weaves, bleach cleanable and built for heavy daily use. Ask which ones suit a house with dogs or cats.

Outdoor and marine

Sunbrella and marine-grade vinyls, UV resistant and made for Florida sun, salt and humidity.

Trim and hardware

Tape trim, welt cord, nailhead, drapery rods, rings and decorative legs to finish the piece.

Bring Your Piece, or Bring Your Fabric

If you want the work done as well, the workroom is in the same building: reupholstery, custom furniture, drapery, headboards and commercial seating. Choose the fabric, leave the piece, and one team takes it from swatch to delivery.

If you would rather do the work yourself, that is fine too. Buy the yardage and take it with you, and ask about upholstery supplies while you are here.

Fabric Store Questions

Can I buy fabric by the yard?

Yes. Come into the showroom, choose from the swatch library, and we will order your yardage. Tell us what you are covering and we will work out how much you need so you are not guessing.

Do I have to buy upholstery work to buy fabric?

No. You are welcome to buy fabric on its own. Plenty of customers also bring their own material, which the trade calls COM, and we are happy to work with it.

Do you have pet-friendly upholstery fabric?

Ask about performance weaves such as Crypton. They are woven to resist stains and moisture and to be cleaned hard, which is what matters in a house with a dog or a cat.

Do you carry boucle?

Yes, boucle is one of the fabrics customers ask for most. Come and feel the samples, because boucle varies a great deal in texture and weight.
